City of Raleigh, NC Taps Sparta Commercial Services, Inc. (SRCO) Municipal Lease Program for Replacement of Police Motorcycle Fleet

Sparta Commercial Services reported today that as testament to its equipment acquisition service efficacy, the City of Raleigh, NC has tapped its Municipal Leasing Division for replacing the city’s police motorcycles with new BMW vehicles. The vendor for the transaction is the Raleigh-based dealership Capitol BMW, which has provided the vehicles in four previous Sparta Commercial Services leasing transactions. The company’s Municipal Leasing Program has emerged in recent years as a popular option with many cities, towns, and other municipalities for the acquisition of equipment that they need.

Commenting on the experience with Sparta Commercial Services, Capitol BMW’s Principal, Garrett Garcia, said, “Capitol BMW teamed with Sparta Commercial Services’ Municipal Lease Division several years ago to provide an effective and seamless process for our police customers to acquire new motorcycles for their departments. [Our partner] always makes it an efficient and pleasant experience, and its program makes the process a ‘win-win’ for everyone.”

Sparta Commercial Services’ Municipal Leasing Program presents an economical alternative for acquiring vehicles and other essential equipment to the more mainstream method of upfront purchasing, enabling these municipalities to spread their payments over time. That has proven to be a budget-friendly option for the company’s municipal clients, as it gives them greater flexibility in their budgeting processes while enabling them to acquire the equipment they need for optimal civil services.

In North Carolina, ten other agencies have opted for Sparta Commercial Services’ service option. That includes the cities of Charlotte and Greenville, and the company has just added an eleventh client, the town of Holden Beach, to acquire a Dodge Charger police cruiser replacement for the town’s law enforcement department. The vendor for that transaction is Ilderton Chrysler Jeep Dodge in High Point, NC, and it will be the eleventh transaction this vendor has completed with the company.

Sgt. Frank Dilworth said, “This was our first experience with Sparta Commercial Services’ Municipal Department, and it couldn’t have gone smoother. It really understands the needs of a local agency in pursuing a new financing process, and we certainly benefited from that.”

Sparta Commercial Services, based out of New York, looks to continue to offer economical consumer and municipal financing options and innovative technological solutions to the powersports, recreation, and auto industries.
