Mobile game
developer OBJ Enterprises today reported it is making substantial progress in
signing a new deal to license and develop new mobile games. The company is
negotiating the prospects of a partnership with Corv Studios, and if
successful, both companies would publish mobile game titles under OBJ
Enterprises’ Novalon Games brand.
Currently OBJ
Enterprises has two mobile games, Phantasmic and Bluff Wars 2.0, which it
released earlier this year and gave the company its first revenues. Just last
week, via its Novalon brand, OBJ Enterprises released another game, Creature
Tavern, which became available on the Google Play store. That is just in time
for this year’s holiday season, with mobile game app purchases projected to be
twice than what they usually are at other times of the year.
Through its gaming
division, Obscene Interactive, OBJ Enterprises is developing a robust portfolio
of engaging mobile gaming content that is available across all mobile devices.
The global mobile gaming market is experiencing explosive grow from year to
year, with Gartner predicting that mobile games will jump from $13.2 billion in
2013 to $22 billion in 2015. The tech advisement company also notes that the
worldwide video game industry, as a whole, increased to $93 billion this year
from $79 billion last year.
OBJ Enterprises
looks to further leverage technologies such as biometrics, utility gaming apps,
and other monetization models in order to acquire a competitive market presence
in this explosive worldwide marketplace.
