Just in time for the
start of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship at the Daytona International
Speedway, On the Move Systems is reporting it is making progress in its bid to
offer racing fans one-of-a-kind sports getaway packages.
The championship
will be starting next year on January 25-26, kicking off with the 52nd
anniversary Rolex 24. On the Move Systems is currently in talks with a company
called The Xperience over a prospective partnership, which would open doors to
racing enthusiasts to attend the hottest NASCAR races, interact with racing
drivers and their pit crews, and even drive race cars around the tracks. The
sports packages would be offered to sports fans at multiple tiers to offer the
greatest consumer choice value. Comprehensive booking deals on transportation,
lodging, and more would be handled by On the Move Systems’ joint venture
partner, The Naples Connection.
“Now that the
International Motor Sports Association has announced next year’s full USCC
schedule, we are working as quickly as we can to set up incredible fantasy
sports getaway packages for die-hard fans and generous sponsors alike in time
for the first race,” said OMVS CEO Robert Wilson. “We plan to offer exclusive
auto-racing travel experiences and more that can’t be found using other niche
travel services.”
In addition to
unique sports packages, On the Move Systems is working to develop travel and
transportation service options in private air charters, intermodal transport,
luxury driving, pet shipping, and more. The company seeks to make these
services available through key partnerships with successful, established
companies, and then to extend these services through an online booking system,
delivered through a cutting-edge technology in the travel industry, an ISTx
travel portal. The portal is currently in development and scheduled to be
up-and-running sometime in 2014.
Estimates say that
the online travel industry encompasses $300 billion. On the Move Systems
incorporates a scalable business model that leverages existing travel routes
and “legs” for more effective and efficient travel options availability. The
online platform will enable the company to transform and synchronize daily
operations so that service users will enjoy reduced travel costs and increased
convenience. On the Move Systems’ services will serve the needs of many target
audiences, from niche vacation goers to traveling executives, and it looks
forward to establishing a strong market presence with these one-of-a-kind
service offerings.
