Graymark Healthcare announced that as of Dec. 12, 2013, it
has changed its corporate name to Foundation Healthcare, Inc. The company has
also commenced trading its common stock under the new ticker symbol FDNH,
effective Dec. 12, and will no longer trade under its former symbol, GRMH. This
is all in connection with a company-wide rebranding.
On July 23, 2013, Graymark completed the acquisition of
Foundation Surgical Hospital Affiliates LLC and Foundation Surgery Affiliates
LLC (collectively “Foundation”). Headquartered in Oklahoma City, Okla., Foundation
owns and operates surgery-focused hospitals and surgery center facilities that
are engaged in facilitating and enhancing the surgical experience and outcomes
for surgeons and their patients.
As the combination of Graymark and Foundation Healthcare has
taken place, the business focus of the combined companies has now shifted to
the surgical hospital business. The new company name reflects both its
strategic direction and the central business segment of the combined entity.
