Today
before the opening bell, Dominovas Energy announced a new appointment to its
Board of Directors, Emilio De Jesus, who originally hails from Angola. His
selection brings the total number of board members up to five people. As a
member and the head of the Africa Development committee, De Jesus has been
given specific responsibilities for effecting further development of Dominovas’
political capital in Africa.
At
present, De Jesus serves as President of the Dominovas Energy Africa division.
In this capacity, he has been responsible for business development and
strategy. He had also been tasked with identifying new market and expansion
opportunities for Dominovas Energy’s RUBICON™ brand throughout Africa.
De Jesus’
prior experience includes success in international trading of commodities
between the United States, Asia, and Africa. These efforts have culminated in
the creation of multiple joint ventures between North American, Asian and
African investors in agriculture and oil and gas businesses. They also created
strong job and training opportunities in emerging economies. For over 14 years,
De Jesus also managed large telecommunications projects for a major Fortune 500
company. Along with this, his career background includes the deployment of new
technologies across the globe, with focus on Asia, Pacific, Europe and Africa.

15 years of broad international business experience specific to Africa and its most
important industries will add valuable perspective to our board of directors,”
said Dominovas Energy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Neal Allen. “We
appreciate his willingness to serve as a director and look forward to
benefitting from his judgment, relationships, and counsel.”
De Jesus
is 37 years old and has received multiple distinctions. He holds a Bachelor of
Science in Electrical Engineering from Temple University in Philadelphia; a
Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Management from the Stevens Institute of
Technology in Hoboken, NJ; and a MBA from George Washington University in
Washington, DC. In his broad credentials, he has also attained extended
post-graduate certifications in business management and technology, as well as
certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
Throughout
his career, De Jesus has received professional awards from both government and
business industry groups. He also sits on the boards of Worldtibe Group
International & Grupo Jemilce and is a member of the Institute of
Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
