Producers of the
award-winning brand Montalvo Tequila, Montalvo Spirits announced that it has
received an additional order from MJ Sweiss, LLC, the company’s current
distributor in the State of Arizona. Based out of Phoenix, MJ Sweiss is a fine
wine and spirits distributor known for supplying resorts, restaurants, and
retailers throughout Arizona.
“We are pleased to
see the order size in Arizona increase from a few initial cases to over a
pallet in such a short time frame,” commented Montalvo’s Director of Sales,
Daniel Cahill. “The market has responded well and we hope to see continued
growth of Montalvo Tequila throughout the state,” added Cahill.
“We’ve always been
committed to delivering the highest quality products to our customers and are
excited to continue with Montalvo Tequila as part of our portfolio,” stated
President of MJ Sweiss, Marwan Sweiss.
Currently in talks
to further expansion efforts both nationally and internationally, Montalvo
Tequila is expected to announce additional wholesaler partnerships early this
year.
Montalvo Tequila’s
Plata was named Finalist for the Chairman’s Trophy at the prestigious Ultimate
Spirits Challenge 2013 and was awarded 93 points out of 100. At the 2013
Spirits of the Americas Competition, Montalvo’s Reposado was named “Best of
Class” in the Reposado Tequila division. In addition, Montalvo’s Reposado and
Anejo were honored with Gold Medals in September 2013′s Spirits of Mexico
Competition, held by the IWSC Group.
