growers in Colorado, where a young girl named Charlotte Figi made headlines

parents turned to cannabis to save their daughter. Marijuana growers and

cannabis’ psychoactive ingredient, but plenty of CBD, which has medicinal
properties.
The effects were miraculous. Today, Charlotte’s seizures have been reduced
to two or three per month, all without having to smoke marijuana or become
high. The medicinal strain created for her, named Charlotte’s Web, is now being
used by 41 other patients.
