Albertsons Places First Order for Green Hygienics’ (GNIN) Sensational Bamboo Products

Green Hygienics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Green Innovations Ltd., announced that the Albertsons grocery store chain has placed its first order of the company’s Sensational Bamboo Bath Tissue and Sensational Bamboo Kitchen Towels, which will be distributed in 115 stores throughout the Southwestern United States.

Bamboo-based paper products are environmentally friendly and sustainable – unlike recycled paper products, which require harsh chemicals for processing. Bamboo offers many benefits: Bamboo groves release 35 percent more oxygen into the air, contrasted with a stand of trees of similar size; bamboo matures within seven years, compared with 30-50 years for a stand of trees; bamboo improves soil conditions and prevents erosion; and bamboo is fast-growing enough to yield 20 times more timber than trees.

Paper products made from all natural bamboo are smooth and strong, which makes bamboo ideal for use in bath tissue, facial tissue, kitchen towels and more.

Green Hygienics plans to continue developing and launching other sustainable, 100 percent tree-free bamboo products going forward.
