Command Center, Inc. (CCNI) Deploys 800 Workers to Aid in Hurricane Relief

Command Center, a provider of on-demand and temporary staffing solutions in the United States, has announced that approximately 800 of its workers are already on hand and helping daily to assist with Hurricane Isaac relief efforts in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Command Center’s workers are currently servicing around 20 project locations, engaged in shifts of up to 12 hours to help bring relief to the affected communities as soon as possible. The number of workers from the company is expected to grow in the coming days as water begins to recede in certain other areas.

This is the single largest relief deployment of Command Center employees since the company assisted with cleanup efforts following the Gulf Oil spill of 2010. The company was, fortunately, well prepared for this kind of emergency and immediately responded by bringing in its highly skilled and experienced disaster recovery team from various parts of the country to manage the huge effort. Command Center’s team has worked diligently and effectively on very short notice to recruit and mobilize hundreds of workers to service major contractors in both Louisiana and Mississippi.

While the ideal situation would be avoiding devastation of this magnitude, the reality is that natural disasters occur, and when catastrophes, like hurricanes, strike an area and disrupt communities, it is crucial to have prepared and equipped organizations on hand to respond fast. Command Center is proud to assist in these hurricane relief efforts and also to provide much-needed jobs within the affected communities.

Command Center is engaged in offering flexible on-demand employment solutions to businesses in the U.S. – chiefly in the areas of light industrial, hospitality, and event services, as well as other assignments like emergency and disaster relief projects.
