Monster Arts, Inc. (APPZ) Subsidiary Announces Upgrades to the Trick Or Tracker Child Monitoring App Just in Time for Halloween

Iconosys, a company 10 percent owned by Monster Arts, has updated and made improvements to Trick Or Tracker, its leading family safety app, just in time for the Halloween season. The app, one of Iconosys’ more than 1,000 family safety, lifestyle, and entertainment smartphone apps, enables parents to monitor their child’s location at all times, both on Halloween and throughout the year, through their smartphone.

Trick Or Tracker allows parents to keep tabs on the locations of one or more children via a single smart device. Parents can set location boundaries and receive notifications if their child travels beyond an allowed perimeter, and they can also preset destinations, like home or school, and receive notifications when the child arrives there. As many kids today are using and carrying smartphones, parents can utilize this to relieve the worry and stress they might otherwise have when letting a child go places alone, such as walking to and from school and trick-or-treating. This year, the Chicago Tribune named Trick Or Tracker the No. 1 family app for Halloween 2013.

As part of updates to the app, Trick Or Tracker now comes loaded with other popular child safety app technologies from Iconosys, including the geo-fence technology Guards Up, the home/school arrival notification technology Latchkey Kid, and other features built into the child’s phone. Through Trick Or Tracker, children can locate their parents or send a distress message, which sends the parent or other message recipient the child’s exact location through a daytime satellite map. The app additionally has a flashlight feature that shines a white light and can also shine in various glow-stick colors, making it a perfect safety light to guide trick-or-treaters on Halloween.

Trick Or Tracker has been completed for iPhone but the company is awaiting iTunes approval, which is anticipated to happen soon. Currently, only the child’s phone must be an Android OS phone – the parent’s device can be any Google maps-loaded phone, including iPhone, Blackberry or Windows Phone. For best results, however, Iconosys recommends both the parent and child use Android OS phones like the Samsung Galaxy or Motorola Droid family of phones.

Trick Or Tracker can be downloaded from Amazon or Google Play as well as at Iconosys.com and TrickOrTracker.com. A lifetime license for the app is $4.99; however, on Halloween Day it will be available for free from 8 a.m. EST until 11:59 p.m. EST at www.TrickOrTracker.com. The app is available in both English and Spanish on Android.
