On the Move Systems today announced it has signed a business development agreement with the Naples Connection, a company that focuses on delivery of online deals on flights, cruises, hotels, and travel. The agreement makes the Naples Connection the first partner of On the Move Systems to share in travel revenues. With the transportation and travel options it provides, this new partner will be a valuable asset in helping build the efficacy of On the Move Systems’ online transportation portal.
The terms of the agreement say that On the Move will refer new customers to the Naples Connection through its online portal in exchange for a share of travel agent commissions. The partnership is scheduled to begin soon with luxury transportation options from the United States to the Bahamas.
Earlier this week, the company signed a new joint venture with its first partner in luxury ground transportation options, JetSet Car Services. It says that these partnerships are only the first of many in the travel and transportation industry that are yet to come. In 2013, a third of all travel sales around the globe will be booked online. With its strategic partnerships and ISTx platform providing one-of-a-kind transportation and travel options online, On the Move Systems says it will be positioned for developing and bringing to market new solutions for user demands in the $300 billion online travel industry.
