Responding to customer demands for items featuring the Molson maple leaf logo, the company has launched a digital store devoted to premium lager products. Some of those items include t-shirts, beer steins, pint glasses, and even phone cases showing the dramatic red leaf.
“Fans of Molson Canadian reach out to us on a daily basis asking where they can get access to shirts, hats and other items to show their allegiance to our brands,” comments Director of Sponsorship & Strategy at Molson Coors Canada, Hari Sihvo. “With the launch of an online shop, we now have a resource for Molson Canadian beer drinkers to access great brand merchandise.”
In addition, the Molson Canadian Shop, powered by CafePress, will also give consumers the option to personalize and customize a number of products as well as seasonally relevant merchandise. Launched in 1999, CafePress empowers corporate partners who are looking for a digital vehicle in which to provide a strong selection of products to online customers and fans.
Molson Coors is one of the first brewing companies to use the CafePress digital platform. The Molson Canadian brand is also the first of several popular beers within the company’s portfolio in Canada.
“We appreciate how deep consumer loyalty can go when it comes to beer preferences,” states Ty Simpson, Vice-President of Business Development for CafePress. “Once someone makes a connection to a particular style of beer or brand, their loyalty becomes passion. Derived from regional reputation or passed down generation-to-generation, the connection includes the slogans and brand artwork.”
The selection of products to become available includes items such as the Molson Leaf Hooded Sweatshirt, Molson Canadian Stein, and the Molson Canadian iPhone 5 Switch Case.
