GTX Corp., a leader in two-way GPS Personal Location Services (PLS) solutions, announced that it has entered an agreement with AttachaPack LLC which will allow the company to acquire the exclusive licensing rights of GTX’s enterprise GPS Tracking platform and miniaturized two-way GPS with SOS and emergency voice capabilities to be embedded in backpacks.
AttachaPack™, founded in California by a career police officer, offers a range of innovative backpacks that feature interchangeable pockets in hundreds of patterns so kids can easily customize and create their own backpack. The backpacks are equipped with added safety features, providing peace of mind for the parents, like a built-in GPS tracker with text- and voice-enabled SOS, a bullet-proof shield, and a solar panel that charges mobile devices.

With a soft launch scheduled for this week, AttachaPack has placed its initial order of GPS SOS- and voice- enabled micro devices and made a limited product line available through Amazon. The official hard launch, complete with a full product line, is slated for mid August in time for back-to-school.
