Options Media Group Holdings, Inc. announced yesterday that they have come to terms with Encompass Communications, LLC for Encompass to add Option’s mobile applications to their premiere prepaid product suite. Encompass will be adding OPMG’s PhoneGuard Anti-Text While Driving, Mobile Security and Anti-Spyware for mobile applications to the suite. With the propriety technologies, Encompass is expanding features for their customers to include safe texting and identity theft protection. The new features will be exhibited by Encompass at booth 224 at the upcoming Prepaid Press Expo at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas on August 24 – 26, 2010.
The products will be sold exclusively through the Encompass network of notable retailers. Among others, Encompass presently provides its products to industry leaders such as 7-Eleven, Costco, CVS, Dollar General, Radio Shack, Sam’s Club, Walgreens and Target.
Larry Luna, President and Chief Executive Officer at Encompass Communications, commented, “We believe our distribution network partners will be very excited about carrying this state of the art mobile product suite. We join many others in our support of initiatives that will improve public safety by discouraging texting while driving and we believe this product goes a long way toward accomplishing this important goal. This announcement comes on the heels of the press release issued by Options Media Group yesterday in which they announced that the PhoneGuard Mobile Security suite will now be carried by Wireless Zone stores, Verizon Wireless’s largest independent reseller organization in America offering the latest cellphones, accessories and service in more than 400 store locations.
Despite the news, shares of OPMG closed down 14.38% yesterday at $.0149 on 1.8 million shares in volume.
