Greenlight Resources reported the results of an updated assessment of its resources at its mineral prospect in Canada. The assessment was based on an updated prospecting and mapping of its properties.
Greenlight Resources said that the company has located three additional prospective zones at the Brazil Lake Lithium and Rare Metal property in Nova Scotia, Canada. This brings the total prospective zones at the Brazil Lake property to five.
Greenlight Resources has designated these new zones as the Deerfield, Army Road and Church Road sites. The sites were identified using pegmatite boulder float trains, and require more work to confirm the presence of minerals.
At the Deerfield site, Greenlight Resources found three separate pegmatite float trains approximately 300 by 75 meters in size. The pegmatite float trains contained mica, cleavelandite, and spodumene, which are the host minerals for lithium.
Greenlight Resources said that the company also found evidence of mineral deposits at the Army Road and Church Road sites. The company has decided to concentrate its efforts at the Army Road site, and will begin a trenching operation in an attempt to discover more evidence of mineral content.
