Lads recently announced the company’s acquisition of the “CouBox” mobile
software platform assets, complete with a coupon and incentive-driven content
management system. The system delivers incentives for consumers by way of a
website complimented by a mobile application.
The CouBox
platform gives consumers the ability to search for miscellaneous sale items.
Users search for items, brands and stores. When the consumer finds the item
they are looking for, their mobile device can capture the item so that it can
be used at a later time. CouBox helps consumers search for flyers and matches
them with coupons for doubling savings through a pattern-recognition algorithm.
The code also can anticipate which items will go on sale and when to make more
beneficial recommendations to CouBox users on which items to purchase.
Consumers
are not the only beneficiaries of the CouBox platform. The system gives
merchants the capability to sign-up and list ‘coupon’ items formatted in a way
that makes them easy to be found by CouBox users. The system allows for instant
mobile alerts and includes a reward system for enabling push notifications.
From the Google App Engine, CouBox puts the consumer in charge of what they
wish to receive. Additionally, CouBox has the capability to create shopping
routes based on each user’s unique profile which saves the consumer time and
money.
