Well Power, Inc. (WPWR) Offering Solution for Domestic Energy and Environmental Challenges

An emerging energy technologies company, Well Power uses a proprietary technology that is capable of being deployed with minimal capital expense for the processing of waste natural gas, such as vented, flared, or stranded gas into “clean power” and engineered fuels. The company seeks to position itself as a provider of a waste-reversing solution for clientele in the upstream areas of exploration and production; specifically oil and gas operators and producers.

For its technology, Well Power has secured the licensing rights to Texas as well as the first right of refusal to other states. Specifically, the company’s technology is a highly mobile Micro-Refinery Unit (MRU). The MRU is composed of an assembly of commercial technologies with a proprietary micro-reactor system for hydrocarbon processing and catalytic reactions. With these, the system has the ability to process raw natural gas flows of between 75 Mcf to 250 Mcf, first conditioning and converting methane and condensates into Syngas (CO and hydrogen). Thereafter, the processing progresses to a Fischer-Tropsch reaction to produce Green Fuel™, and power, which is produced from heat generated by exothermic reactions and combustion. In short, it enables close-to-wellhead processing of raw natural gas into liquid fuels and clean power.

Aside from being modular, economical, and scalable, the MRU notably offers energy efficiency and a higher productivity capability for greater yields. For easy site-to-site transportability, the MRU is skid-mounted. It is also easily custom-configured for optimal functionality.

Well Power notes that gas flaring is one of the biggest pressing energy problems today. On an annual basis, approximately 150 billion cubic meters of natural gas are flared into the world each year. In total, that signifies a contribution of 400 million metric tons of carbon dioxide-equivalent global greenhouse gas emissions. From an energy standpoint, that represents a 5 percent waste of global gas production, or $10 billion in lost revenue at $2.00 per MMBtu, or the equivalent of 2.4 million barrels of oil per day.

Making this solution available to exploration and production clientele, the company seeks to expand into Texas and then other states.
