Today, Puget
Technologies announced the success of its beta testing program for the IdeaWerk
high-performance 3D printer. The news comes after Shenzhen Weistek, an
award-winning manufacturer of personal 3D printers and printing accessories,
recently named Weistek USA, a subsidiary of Puget Technologies, as the
exclusive domestic sales, service, and support provider for all of Weistek’s
product lines.

the progress we have made in developing a 3D printer that will appeal to
hobbyists and do-it-yourselfers for personal at-home use,” said Ron Leyland,

Puget Technologies’
engineering team had been working with engineers at Shenzhen Weistek for
product enhancements. It is now heading back to the United States after their
week-long collaboration with Shenzhen Weistek’s team members in China. Puget
Technologies is waiting on the arrival of the first 3D printer units.
According to
3ders.org, the United States is expected to be the largest 3D printing market
in the world. It is projected to account for 42 percent of global sales in
2017. Furthermore, it is projected that global demand for 3D printing will
increase more than 20 percent each year through 2017. Puget Technologies looks
