On the Move Systems Corp. said in a news release today it has begun talks of a prospective partnership with a travel agency in the Central United States. The business agreement would entail referring new customers to the travel agency in exchange for OMVS receiving a share of commissions.
Recently OMVS signed its first revenue-sharing deal with the Naples Connection, a company that focuses on online deals on flights, cruises, hotels, and travel. Under that agreement, the Naples Connection will have their services for travel and shipping made available through OMVS’ online portal and benefit from its digital marketing strategies. OMVS looks to continue building partnerships such as these throughout the United States. It ultimately aims to offer through these strategic partnerships one-of-a-kind travel and transportation service options that are unlike any found anywhere online.
The key for offering those service options, the ISTx platform, is in development and scheduled to be up-and-running sometime next year. OMVS notes that the largest online portals focus on major airlines only for transportation, opening up great market opportunity for OMVS to provide additional service options and satisfy unmet consumer demands. According to PhoCusWright, 33.3% of all travel sales globally will be booked online. Online bookings are notably growing twice as fast as the total travel market itself.
With its online platform in place, OMVS says it will be strongly positioned to emerge as a unique services provider in the $300 billion online travel marketplace.
