Saratoga Resources, Inc. (SARA) Recruits John Ebert as Vice President of Finance and Business Development

Independent exploration and production company Saratoga Resources announced the recruitment of John Ebert to the position of Vice President of Finance and Business Development.

Ebert first joined Saratoga in August of 2013 in a business development capacity in order to strengthen the company’s asset evaluation capabilities and to advise management on the valuation and financing of accretive acquisition opportunities. Since joining the company, Ebert has played a key role in each of those areas as well as in the company’s corporate finance functions.

Ebert has a strong background that consists of over 22 years of industry experience in finance, business development, and reservoir engineering with a focus on the Gulf Coast region. In addition, Ebert has served in production engineering and reservoir engineering positions with Marathon Oil and Halliburton Energy Services, as well as in his previous role as Vice President of Finance at Woodside Energy (North America). Ebert also holds energy industry lending experience, serving as a member of the Energy Lending Group and as the Vice President of Hibernia National Bank. Ebert earned a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa.
