Obscene Interactive, the gaming division and subsidiary of OJB Enterprises, continues to build up and strengthen its development team. As it looks to increase its development talent, the company reports it is planning to make new, state-of-the-art analytics tools to engage and monetize mobile gamers across the globe.
OJB Enterprises seeks to develop new utilities that will optimize mobile gaming apps to extract insightful, valuable data about app users. The collected data could be of value to developers for determination of criteria such as a user acquisition cost, or which steps would most likely lead a user to make an in-app purchase. Those insights could change the face of how games are developed and marketed.
“We need better tools to study why users leave a game, share an achievement, or make a purchase,” said OBJ Enterprises President Paul Watson. “The more we know about our most profitable users, the better we can tailor the gaming experience to their interests, behaviors, and social networks.”
Last month, OBJ Enterprises acquired Novalon Games, a development studio that creates novel mobile apps such as Phantasmic and Creature Tavern. The company now seeks to turn it into a developer of cutting-edge, engaging content that leverages biometrics, utility gaming apps, and other monetization opportunities for the gaming market. OBJ Enterprises seeks to develop more gaming products through its subsidiary for the Apple app store and Google Play market as well.
