Wireless, cashless payment, and M2M telemetry solutions leader USA Technologies announced it has been ranked as one of the The Nilson Report’s top five shippers of point-of-sale (POS) terminals in the United States.
The Nilson Report is a leading research source relating to consumer payment systems throughout the world. The rankings for the 2012 calendar year list USAT as No. 5 among leading POS shippers in the U.S. On a global basis, the company has moved up six places since 2011, when it was ranked 32nd in the world; for 2012, USAT is ranked 26th in the world.

The company’s ePort is a cashless payment system driving connections to ePort Connect, which is a PCI-compliant, comprehensive suite of cashless payment, telemetry and consumer engagement services designed to simplify the transition to cashless. Customers and connections to ePort Connect service have grown at a compound annual growth rate of 65 percent and 35 percent, respectively, over the past three years, as of Sept. 30, 2013.
