Producers of the award-winning brand Montalvo Tequila, Montalvo Spirits announced earlier today that it has continued its strategic expansion plan by securing distribution and receiving its first orders in the State of Arizona. Montalvo Tequila is now being distributed by Phoenix based MJ Sweiss, LLC, a quality wine and spirits distributor who currently supplies restaurants, resorts, and retailers throughout Arizona.
Additionally, Montalvo Tequila has completed an order from the State of Wyoming Liquor Division and is set to become available in various select retailers within the state.
These states join the likes of New York, California, Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Oregon in carrying Montalvo Tequila’s line of award-wining and ultra-premium tequilas.
“Arizona was an integral state in our distribution plan,” stated Daniel Cahill, Montalvo’s Director of Sales. “Securing distribution in the Southwest was the logical next step after our successful Northeast expansion,” added Cahill.
At the acclaimed Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2013, Montalvo Tequila’s Plata was honored as a Finalist in the Chairman’s Trophy category, being impressively awarded 93 points out of 100. In addition, at the 2013 Spirits of the Americas Competition, Montalvo’s Reposado was announced as “Best of Class” in the Reposado Tequila category, and Montalvo’s Reposado and Anejo were honored with Gold Medals in September 2013′s Spirits of Mexico Competition, held by the IWSC Group.
