First Titan Energy Corp., an oil and natural gas company, continues to explore new acquisition opportunities and aggressively engage in production operations at its current holding sites. Along with these efforts, oil and natural gas are seeing global gains, with potential for sustained growth being mentioned by analysts.
The price of oil gained over 40 cents from last week to near $94 a barrel. Rigzone.com reported that global demand for oil could increase because October trade data in China showed growth in China’s overall imports accelerating. Sanctions remaining on Iran for its nuclear program were also mentioned as another contributor to the oil price gain, staving an influx of Iranian oil into the world’s market supply.
The Associated Press reported data for the week ended November 8 are expected to have an increase of 1.8 million barrels in crude oil stocks. That would be the eighth consecutive weekly gain. Natural gas was reported to reach $3.57 per 1,000 cubic feet as well.
First Titan Energy has energy assets in Texas, Alabama, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. At its South Lake Charles Prospect operation in Louisiana, the company is engaging in drilling operations in its oil well with a target depth of 15,300 feet. Initial well reserve estimates were put at a possible 60 billion cubic feet of gas and 4 million barrels of oil being available for extraction.
Along with its aggressive production efforts, First Titan Energy continues exploring energy development opportunities through its wholly owned subsidiary, First Titan Energy, LLC. The company looks to partner with other companies that embrace or harness extraction methods or technologies that are clean, new, or unconventional.
