Yesterday, netTalk.COM, Inc. announced expansion throughout Canada, utilizing a list of new area codes and telephone numbers for the company’s netTalk DUO telephone and VoIP digital phone service.
netTALK focuses on designing and distributing low-cost VoIP services and devices, with their netTalk DUO product being able to place calls to any telephone number in the U.S. and Canada from anywhere in the world, along with 911 service in Canada. The netTALK DUO is available from the company’s website, as well as Canadian retailers such as Amazon.ca, Dell.ca, BestBuy.ca, Sears.ca, TigerDirect.ca, and Best Buy, Sears, TigerDirect, and Zellers; the device retails for CDN$ 79.95, and includes the first year of service.
The netTALK DUO device has won several awards, such as PCMag.com and LAPTOP Magazine’s Editor’s Choice Awards, as well as being termed “Business-Ready” by PCWorld. netTALK boasts that the device is the smallest VoIP adapter device, and that the user does not need a computer to place calls with the device; only a router or modem is needed.
