Single Touch (SITO) and NextGen Partner for New Doctor/Patient Messaging Service

Single Touch Systems, Inc. today announced that they had signed an agreement with NextGen Management LLC to utilize NextGen’s network in a way that will allow a new method of mobile communication in the doctor-patient relationship, as well as delivering branded content.

Single Touch Systems is a mobile communications provider that is focused on letting marketers reach consumers on multiple internet-connected devices. The company works with businesses, advertisers and brands that want to connect with new and existing consumers using their patented technologies.

By combining Single Touch’s marketing technology with NextGen’s network – consisting of over 50,000 doctors that provide care to more than 11 million patients – Single Touch will be able to push messaging to an entirely new area of data users. The service, launching under the brand name Doctor’s Communication Services, or DCS, will serve a variety of functions.

DCS will facilitate communication between doctors and patients in the form of scheduling appointments and issuing appointment reminders. The service will also allow for issuing vouchers and coupons, medication compliance distribution notices and new product launches from manufacturers. The new service promises to let medical care providers distribute quality medical care in the most cost-effective manner available.
