MedClean Technologies (MCLN.OB) Expands Distribution Network via Agreement with Laspa Inc.

MedClean, the revolutionary developer of innovative on-site medical waste and confidential documentation disposal/destruction solutions, reported signing of a distribution agreement with Florida-based, minority-owned specialty distributor of emerging medical technologies Laspa Inc. today.

Laspa was founded a decade and a half ago by some of the top players from a variety of Fortune 100 companies, all with vast experience in sales management, product development and marketing, and the resulting company is dedicated to a strategy of partnering with the most ethical and innovative client manufacturers, which makes MedClean a natural choice.

The agreement augments MCLN’s market presence, bringing the total distribution footprint to 17 states, served by five regional distributors, in addition to one national partner focused on the Veteran’s Administration, with some 23 distributor-based sales personnel nationwide representing the Company’s systems.

The agreement also enables Laspa to offer existing health care customers throughout Florida access to the revolutionary on-site waste solutions and an integrated platform for equipment and services.

President and CEO of MCLN, David Laky, asserted that Laspa can now offer the most comprehensive integrated waste stream solutions platform available; one which incorporates the best technology and services out there, extending Laspa’s already extensive product line.

Laky noted Laspa’s already extensive market penetration in Florida, and characterized the agreement as a big win for both companies.

Laky explained further that this agreement, other distribution partners, and the early success of the International Waste Transporters Association network (an astounding 40 new members in fewer than 60 days) puts MCLN in ideal market position with the ability to place the Company’s products on-site at the waste generator’s location.

Furthermore MCLN is able to establish a waste processing center to service the distributor and hauler’s client base, constituting a “recurring revenue model via a mobile processing network for waste treatment going from site to site.”

President and CEO of Laspa, Lascelle Sweetland, asseverated these sentiments and pointed out that Laspa’s capacity to offer such a sophisticated waste stream solution, through the addition of MedClean System technology – especially given the location – provides a real competitive edge for Laspa and significant utility for the customers as well.
