Celsia Technologies (CSAT) has launched a network of manufacturing and sales representative firms. Areas chosen cover key design and manufacturing areas in Europe and the United States. Companies added to Celsia’s sales force include: Tech Rep UK (England, Ireland) with Kevin White as its Operations Manager; and Bromanco (Sweden), Jussi Myllyluoma, and several offices in the United States.
They join Thermapower Inc. (Taiwan), headed up by Mickey Chiang, which was already opened for business. This Celsia Rep Network has a total of 30 sales representatives.
Celsia CEO Joseph Formichelli said the new partnerships fully prepare the company to handle increased order inquiries, expedite reference design approvals, and forge closer relationships with new companies.
“Our growing relationships as well as the scope and breadth of projects with large chip manufacturers, consumer electronics providers, and computer OEMs are quickly outpacing our ability to maintain stringent service and response standards,” Formichelli said. “By adding a carefully selected rep network to our existing sales capability, Celsia has grown its global presence without having to expand its direct sales team.”
Since October, Celsia has trained these new sales representatives on its proprietary NanoSpreader, vapor chambers which the company says offer up to 30-percent better performance than heat pipes. Target applications and accounts that will benefit from NanoSpreader based thermal solutions have also been identified during that time.
Key among these are server and notebook Central Processing Units (CPU), memory coolers, LED backlighting, and embedded processors applications in game boxes and telecommunications. Based on patented thermofluidic innovation, Celsia Technologies provides cooling systems and technology for these applications and other consumer electronics.
“Celsia brings something unique to our product assortment,” said Griot Group President Ron Hegge. “Thermal engineers are asking us for cooling solutions that outperform heat pipes, without added cost. NanoSpreaders not only meet these goals, they also allow for design options that are impossible using other technologies.”
