OpenTV Corp. (NASDAQ: OPTV) announced that OpenTV EclipsePlus, its newest advertising campaign management solution, has launched in two additional Comcast Spotlight markets.
“Managing increasingly complex ad buys requires robust solutions that streamline processes and make the job easier for our ad sales teams,” said Steve Feingold, senior VP of Operations and Strategic Planning at Comcast Spotlight. “We’ve found those capabilities in EclipsePlus and we look forward to rolling out the platform in additional markets.”
OpenTV EclipsePlus is designed to handle 1,000s of local and interconnect networks and run multiple Designated Market Areas within a single database through an automated scheduling system. That frees up time for sales teams who no longer have to bill and clear orders.

The company says its ad campaign systems currently manage cable advertising spot buys in 15 of the top 25 television markets, reaching 35 million U.S. households across the United States.
