Today before the
opening bell, Big Tree Group announced it has received some purchase orders
from an operator of a retail store chain in Costa Rica that specializes in
family products, home goods, and hardware. Big Tree Group’s purchase orders are
valued at approximately $400,000 and call for toy products ranging from
electronic learning games and instruments to play sets and dolls.
Big Tree Group
interprets the purchase orders as an important development in its efforts to
expand its market reach internationally with an emphasis on aggressive value
pricing. Complete delivery of the toy products to the Costa Rican retail chain
is anticipated to be finished by Q3 2014. Big Tree Group notes there are
tremendous opportunities for it to strengthen business ties with this customer
and increase sales with the chain in the second half of 2014 and into 2015.
Other details of the transaction were not immediately available.
