Global Intelligence Eye (GIE), a subsidiary of China-based intelligent video and alarm monitoring company ANV Security Group, has entered into an agreement to secure international supermarket chain Distribuidora Internacional de Alimentacion, S.A. (Dia) (DIADAF).
Per the agreement, GIE will deploy its remote monitoring services at Dia locations in China to ensure optimal organizational awareness and security that is expected to result in “greater profitability for its shareholders.”
The platform provides tiered management capabilities and restricted accesses protocols across a corporate user’s organization, which means that only authorized users can remotely view the locations in real-time using a wide variety of devices, including laptops, tablets, and handhelds.
“Dia is exactly the type of customer we built our platform to service,” ANVS Chairman Wilson Wang stated in the press release. “With their global presence and hundreds of locations in China, checking in on one, or multiple locations, from anywhere in the world is now a mouse click away.”
GIE officially launched its remote monitoring service in July 2012, and has since worked aggressively to engage large franchise operators in China, such as Dia.
“Our goal is to see more franchise and business owners utilize the GIE platform in China because we put a realistic tool that provides comfort and security into the hands of the key people where it matters the most,” Wang concluded.
