ENGlobal Corp., a company that, along with its subsidiaries, provides engineering and professional services principally to the energy sector in the United States and internationally, recently announced that it has been awarded a contract from Mississippi Power to provide fully fabricated analytical equipment for the Kemper County Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) Generating Facility.
In terms of the contract, ENGlobal is expected to engineer, design, fabricate, and test analyzer buildings and field racks, while supporting field commissioning and providing for verification testing. The process analytical equipment will be utilized to monitor levels of numerous process stream components such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oxygen, and ammonia, in order to optimize process controls for the facility. ENGlobal will begin its work immediately and anticipates to complete the fabrication by the third quarter of 2012, with project completion anticipated for the second quarter of the year 2014.
