Artificial Life Inc. (ALIF.OB) Reports Record Q3 Results, Expects “Further Growth through Remainder of Year”

The first go around of a new technology product is always a nice gee-whiz sort of thing. How it will end up being used in the long run is where the real money is to be made. Just consider the early computers of the 1970’s or “Pong” for that matter. They were nice in the day… but finding out where the next step is headed and being there, ready and waiting is how to making a profitable investment. Finding the company that will be there first is the trick.

Artificial Life Inc., a mobile device applications developer and marketer, works to offer a range of mobile applications across a variety of platforms. The company may be known for its variety of gaming titles but is quickly becoming known for business and compatibility products.

As one might expect, the company finds a majority of its product base in the 3G mobile game marketplace. To this end, it pursues the market with leading edge games designed for all tastes and levels of gamers. As 2G and 3G/3G+ mobiles become more the norm, however, the company is quickly growing its business and professional applications. Its ALIFE Mobile Suite product recognizes a majority of 2G and 3G PDAs & Smartphones to allow the user to customize different platforms to the users’ preferences. This core ability allows for a variety of programs to be used on a single device.

Following this interactive product line further, to the customer/professional interaction, the company offers a patient/doctor product for diabetic monitoring. The product can track/store and communicate information between doctor and diabetic for best patient care to be communicated. As health care in the US looks for cost savings vehicles, this often used product in Asia may provide excellent growth opportunity.

The company’s focus on mobile interaction is also being expanded into the retail and marketing environments, where the company has introduced Avatar shopping guides and company advertising/branding within the Avatar shopping world. From a general point of view, it does appear that Artificial Life has its mobile products bases covered.

Given difficult economic conditions, the company is experiencing remarkable growth. Largely as a result of game licensing and 3G download offerings, it has seen solid advances in its last reporting period. Going forward, the company indicates that it expects solid growth to continue in spite of difficult conditions. Generally speaking, the company expects continued growth from: reseller one time downloads, 3G subscription increases and license sales from its new MobileBooster.

The company’s MobileBooster product in fact may actually begin to lead license sales as game developers look for a standardizing mechanism across a variety of game platforms and developers (this is what the product does - making to market 3G game development quicker, easier and more cost effective.) Mobile and its associated applications for 3G and 3G+ phones and PDA’s is ready to become something even more pervasive then it is today. Artificial Life appears ready to capitalize.
