Technology firm Flexpoint Sensor Systems, maker of the patented The Bend Sensor®, today announced that it has received follow-up orders from its long-standing clients, Bridgepoint and Intertek.
Bridgepoint, a provider of solutions and supplies used for cleaning, deodorization, surface protection, and restoration chemicals, has a nationwide distribution network. The company uses the Bend Sensor® in an air-flow monitoring device for a commercial floor dryer.
In addition to placing additional orders, Bridgepoint will also promote Flexpoint to “Premier Vendor” status, which is expected to solidify and extend the companies’ relationship. As a Premier Vendor, Flexpoint will be eligible to expand the number of products it sells to Bridgepoint.
Intertek, a company providing a diverse line of products primarily in automotive supplies, has ordered more of Flexpoint’s seat sensors for use in Interek’s patented Protek Passenger Awareness system. The ambulance system will be featured in the December 2012 issue of World Business Magazine, which the companies anticipate will drive “considerable” awareness to the system.
“These orders contribute to Flexpoint’s growing momentum heading into 2013. We are pleased to see follow-up orders from these two great partners. Flexpoint said it expects to complete and ship the orders before the close of the year.
