Beacon Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (BEAC) and Existing Fortune 50 Client Sign Additional $730,000 Implementation Contract

Today before the opening bell, Beacon Enterprise Solutions Group, Inc., an emerging global leader in the design, implementation and management of high performance Information Technology Systems (“ITS”) infrastructure solutions, announced the execution of a new contract with an existing Fortune 50 pharmaceutical client to implement a previously awarded project in which Beacon performed design, assessment and engineering work at the client’s facilities throughout the world over the summer.

According to today’s press release, Beacon has already announced three different contracts with this same Fortune 50 pharmaceutical client, collectively exceeding $2.7 million since June. This new contract raises the total awarded amount to almost $3.5 million. Previous to this latest contract, Beacon provided consulting and planning-related professional services to facilities across the globe to assess the client’s ITS infrastructure. The additional $730,000 contract was awarded to begin installation and implementation of the ITS solution as a result of this summer’s survey and assessment activities. This is a typical outcome of Beacon’s new service delivery model, which strategically unbundles key service services so clients can maintain project momentum with limited budget dollars.

“Our field engineering teams who provide assessment and documentation services are a force multiplier for our national, multi-national and global clients,” stated Jerry Bowman, President and COO of Beacon. “A US-based Fortune 50 client typically no longer has the reach to physically go on site to 50 or 100 locations in the same number of countries. They are forced to rely on a patchwork of local vendors, who provide a myopic view of their own work and not always in compliance with the enterprise standard. Beacon provides an alternative to the high level of effort to locate and hire 100 engineers and contractors in 50 plus countries. Beacon’s global reach and network of employees and relationships is the ideal solution for clients like this Fortune 50 pharmaceutical client, since we can provide a rapid, consistent, predictable and cost-effective alternative to the high cost of having employees do the same work.”

“This engagement shows the refined sales and unbundled service delivery approach we implemented in 2010 is working and driving incremental revenue,” said Bruce Widener, Chairman and CEO of Beacon. “Our solutions-based suite of professional and construction services is working with our multi-national Fortune 1000 clients and this incremental contract award will deliver almost $3.5 million in organic growth for Beacon from this single client. We have mobilized our professional services teams all over the world to implement the ITS solution Beacon designed and we expect to complete this project by calendar year-end. Since June alone, we have signed over $10 million in new contracts utilizing our refined strategy and expect to see additional contract awards in the coming months.”
