Starfield Resources, Inc. (SRU.TO) Announces Commencement of Drilling of West Zone Extension at Ferguson Lake

On Wednesday, Starfield Resources, Inc. announced that the Company started the previously announced drilling of the West Zone extension at Ferguson Lake, Nunavut. They expect to continue this work until early September 2011.

In addition, they announced that, because of weather conditions, they have not been able to begin drilling at their Stillwater, Montana property. The Company’s plan is to focus the initial drilling on the volatile enriched zone (VEZ) PGE target. Their second priority is the PGE target referred to as the Crescent Creek dunite pipe, located south of the Janet 50 area of the VEZ. The expectation is that drilling will commence next week.
