Yesterday, China Solar & Clean Energy Solutions, Inc. announced that Deli Solar Holding, Ltd., a subsidiary of CSOL, has signed a joint construction agreement with Guizhou Fuxiang Eco-Industrial City Investment & Development Co., Ltd. The agreement details the construction of green eco-buildings projects located in Guizhou, P.R.C.
China Solar & Clean Energy Solutions, through several subsidiaries, produces and distributes alternative energy systems, such as solar thermal systems for hot water, industrial heat recovery systems, and solar powered lighting. CSOL has recently switched its focus from solar thermal projects to providing low-carbon integrated solutions.
The first phase will occur during the period from August 2011 to December 2012, and will cost RMB 750 million to RMB 900 million (approximately $116.4 million to $14 million). It will cover approximately 1.5 square kilometers. The second phase will have a construction period from August 2012 to October 2014, costing RMB 2 billion to 2.4 billion (approximately $0.31 billion to $0.37 billion), and covering 4 square kilometers. The third period, lasting from August 2013 to December 2015 and costing RMB 4 billion to 4.8 billion (approximately $0.62 billion to $0.74 billion), will cover 2.5 square kilometers.
Payment arrangements will be subject to the parties’ separate agreements.
