Eternal Energy Corp. (EERG) Reports Update on Oil Projects in North America

Eternal Energy Corp. reported an operational update on its oil and gas activities in North America, where the company is active in developing properties prospective for the Bakken and Three Forks formations.

Eternal Energy Corp. reported that the Hardy 7-9 well was taken off production in January 2011 due to mechanical problems. The well was producing 58 barrels of oil per day prior to this incident, up from 40 barrels of oil per day when it was first recompleted.

Eternal Energy Corp. is having repair work performed and expects the well to be returned to production as soon as possible. The Hardy 7-9 well is located in Saskatchewan, Canada, and Eternal Energy Corp. owns a 50% working interest in this well.

Eternal Energy Corp. has a total of 2,300 net acres under lease in the Hardy project in Saskatchewan and expects to drill a second well here in the first quarter of 2011.

Eternal Energy Corp. is also active in two project areas in Divide County, North Dakota. The company elected to participate in thirteen wells on this acreage and is partnering with several other independent exploration and production companies. Eternal Energy Corp. expects results on the first three wells in this program shortly.
