Document Capture Technologies, Inc. (DCMT.OB) Appoints Karl Etzel as Business Development Manager

Document Capture Technologies Inc., which engages in the design, development, and delivery of imaging technology solutions to various institutions, recently announced the appointment of Karl Etzel as the Business and Product Manager.

Karl Etzel brings an array of experience and expertise to Document Capture Technologies. After graduating from University of California with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering, he joined the Company after spending more than a decade as the Program Manager for the US Navy. Etzel also served as the Product Manager for the Data and Communications Division for the Cypress Semiconductor and Intel’s Digital Health Group. The prestigious National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship funded his entire education for his graduate studies.

Karl Etzel has demonstrated the ability to accelerate the development and management of new products throughout his extensive career. His past work has addressed several industry verticals that are of importance to DCMT, which include leading the extensive development, marketing, and OEM support needed for the innovative hardware reference design for the healthcare sector.

Document Capture’s patented technology provides the market with high quality images at a lower power consumption level, all in a compacted design. DCT also offers a comprehensive suite of proprietary software development tools that help facilitate the integration of document capture products with newer and existing counterpart applications.
