American Rare Earths & Materials, Corp. (AREM.OB) Jumps Into Rare Earth Metals Industrial Market

American Rare Earths & Materials, www.americanrare.com – the highly efficient innovator in rare earth metals commercialization, disclosed a series of MOUs (memorandum of understanding) today dynamically expanding its processing and distribution abilities for a whole range of new industrial markets.

AREM will extend its exclusive distribution/manufacturing license for patented super alloys of scandium (hitherto developed for sporting goods) to automotives, electronics, logistics and power transmission, as well as shipbuilding and transportation.

The MOUs were announced in cooperation with intellectual property holding and scientific development firm Advanced Light Alloys Corp. which holds a patent to an alloy system for infusing aluminum alloy with scandium (U.S. Patent 5,597,529) and a patent for 29 other applications of scandium for contemporary aluminum products (#5,620,652).

Another strong market is the $214B (2009) US aerospace sector. The commercial aircraft construction market is projected to exceed $3.2 Trillion in the next two decades globally.

This is a huge pie to carve a slice off for AREM and the Company is well-positioned to capture substantial market space, generating solid downstream revenue for its shareholders.

This announcement also constitutes an opportunity to leverage an exclusive license over proprietary extraction technologies.

CEO of AREM, Dr. Nataliya Hearn, who announced the MOUs, spoke proudly of this “milestone” event for the Company and hailed the emergence into a strong industrial applications market as a huge growth opportunity.

New strategic relationship talks with other industrial customers are already ongoing and AREM expects to make announcements soon as to that regard.

Dr. Hearn concluded by extolling the benefits of a new alternative source of rare earth metals for North America and underscoring the importance of the proprietary extraction technology to AREM’s bottom line.

Reports of an expanded embargo of rare earth resources from China to US/European markets this week makes this a critical resource play that should generate massive revenue.
