Business Rockstars Gives Tips on How to Turn Your Dreams into Money

Business Rockstars, an “entrepreneurial business community,” produces podcasts, radio, and video content designed to help fledgling entrepreneurs and startups create a successful business. They are the largest day-to-day producers of entrepreneurial content that spotlights the endeavors of CEOs, startups, and new business owners. Viewers can access valuable information and advice from these top entrepreneurs that can help them transform their dream job into a reality.

On November 30, Business Rockstars, led by host Ken Rutkowski, set the stage for how to be a successful entrepreneur while making a lucrative business model in their daily video/radio broadcast. First, Rutkowski addressed the issue of being a “followable leader” rather than just an “actionable leader.” Characteristics of a followable leader include respect, great communication, generosity, passion to drive the team forward, and courage. Rutkowski stressed that these may be learned over time but are important when establishing a great team.

Next, guest Kris Finstad, CEO of Content Checked Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB: CNCK), came aboard to discuss his journey toward creating a successful venture. The company’s suite of apps – including ContentChecked, SugarChecked and MigraineChecked – expertly lists ingredients of scanned products that may be harmful to a person’s health. For example, when a food item’s barcode is scanned using the MigraineChecked app, the user will be notified if the food contains migraine triggers. Finstad emphasized the differences in marketing a business around the world, building a good team, and keeping an open mind.

Andy Abramson then appeared on the show via Skype to deliver exceptional websites that improve efficiency. The first was the Uber app, which is a transportation service that could be more affordable than a regular taxi. The second was TaskRabbit.com, which helps people find workers who can complete tasks like home cleaning, moving, and party planning. Lastly, Abramson mentioned BatchedInbox.com, which delivers email only at the times specified by the user. This eliminates distractions and improves productivity.

For the second half of the show, Rutkowski explained the differences between a “learned gut” feeling and an “unlearned gut” feeling. He said using a trained gut is great for business deals, but, if left untrained, guts may give misleading feelings. People should train their guts and instincts by studying constantly, because a “gut feeling” is more like a learned response than a natural gift.

The next guest was Greg Foster, CEO of Imax Entertainment. He described the bumpy patches of his companies but maintained that a business owner should never get complacent or comfortable, as that could lead to trouble. He also remarked how hearing “no” is an important indicator of being an entrepreneur and that being comfortable hearing the word is essential when running a business. Foster also stated that he loves his job so much that it does not feel like work, which is the main theme of Business Rockstars.

Lastly, Rutkowski brought on Nicole Rodrigues, CEO of NRPR Group, to discuss earned media and how it can positively affect a growing business. She suggested that businesses uncover stories that only they know and turn them into press releases that can generate exposure. Statistical data, for example, is great for the media. Rodrigues then recommended LinkedIn Pulse for entrepreneurs to blog about their businesses and spread their brands.

Business Rockstars has daily video and radio content along with helpful podcasts for everything entrepreneur news related. They emphasize ways of finding something meaningful and turning it into a successful source of income.
