Solar Energy Initiatives, Inc. (SNRY) Changes Business Direction with Acquisition Plan for Internet Digital Marketing Division

Solar Energy Initiatives is in the process of changing its business direction from the solar industry to the Internet marketing industry. As part of this transition, the company today announced its plans to integrate its new acquisition, which will offer Internet marketing strategies and solutions to businesses.

The Internet Digital Marketing division is a global media solutions provider focused on connecting its clients to a targeted audience across multiple sales and distribution channels. Once the acquisition is complete, the company will offer digital products and services including mobile and Web-to-mobile content solutions, permission-based e-mail solutions, data enhancement / hygiene, and online lead generation.

The division will market its media solutions products and solutions through telesales, online channel, affiliate network and private label partners, distribution partners, resellers, and direct sales.

Contingent on funding and closing of the acquisition, Solar Energy Initiatives said the projected revenue from this acquisition could reach $8 million over three years. Its goal is to capitalize on eMarketer estimates that digital advertising spending will grow 20 percent this year to reach nearly $40 billion; $52.8 billion by 2014; and $62 billion by 2016.
