Today before the opening bell, Tivus, Inc. announced it will be attending the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) NABShow® conference held from April 9-14, 2011, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“With more than 90,000 industry professionals attending, the NAB show represents $35 billion in purchasing power,” commented Shiva Prakash, Tivus’ president and chief executive officer. “During the show and conference, we have several high-level meetings planned with Las Vegas hoteliers as well as new content and service providers.”
“For more than 85 years, the NABShow has been an essential destination for broader-casting® professionals who share a passion for bringing content to life on any platform — even if they have to invent it. Succinctly, from creation to consumption, this is the place where possibilities become realities.
“The NABShow involves nine conferences and three training programs, features more than 500 skill-building sessions, draws media and entertainment professionals from over 150 countries, includes 1,200-plus members of the press, and1,500-plus unique companies spread over 800,000 net square feet.
“In addition to our planned activities, the growing number of new content and HD IPTV technology providers in this space, we will certainly be exposed to new, commercially exploitable IP-based content and services,” Prakash concluded.
