Cleantech Transit, Inc. (CLNO) is “One to Watch”

Cleantech Transit Inc., founded to capitalize on technology advances and manufacturing opportunities in the growing clean energy public transportation sector, has expanded their focus to invest directly in specific green projects. Recent advances in the technology of converting wood waste into power have significantly enhanced the economic value of their systems. Cleantech has selected to invest in Phoenix Energ, to focus exclusively on generating greater returns for manufacturing clients globally. Cleantech Transit, Inc. has their headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Cleantech produces and sells clean electricity worldwide, focusing on sustainable energies using renewable resources such as geothermal, solar, and wind. The Company’s goal is to use innovative technologies to reduce electricity consumption and dependence on carbon based energy.

Cleantech Transit Inc. has an interest in a 500-Kilowatt biomass-generated power plant owned and operated by Phoenix Energy. The plant is fully constructed in Merced, California and is the first-of-its kind to receive an Authority to Construct permit from the San Joaquin Air Pollution Control District in California’s Central Valley as well as a use permit from Merced County. An on-site biomass-fueled power plant efficiently converts wood and agricultural waste into energy that can be used for electricity and heat

Phoenix Energy’s energy solutions can greatly reduce a business’s operating costs by reducing both their fuel and disposal costs and helping them qualify for tax credits and other energy incentives. They may also be able to sell their emissions credits under any future cap and trade system because they are not generating any greenhouse gasses. If a business generates excess power, they can sell that power directly back to their local utility. Businesses owning and maintaining their own on-site power plant that operates parallel to the existing power grid safeguard themselves against all power interruptions.

Phoenix Energy’s model PHX-1000 converts wood into a synthetic natural gas (syngas or producer gas) through the process of gasification. This syngas is then used to fuel a specially modified natural gas genset to produce electricity and heat. The complete installation of a PHX-1000 requires approximately 3/4 – 1 acre.
