• Shelly Meyers has over 20 years of financial and investment experience, and is founder and president of Palisades Management, providing investment management services to high net worth individuals and institutions, as well as advisory services to corporations regarding corporate finance and capital market activities. She also served as Executive VP for Pacific Global Investment Management Company, helping to grow the company’s high net worth business from $1 million to $100 million. During her management of the company’s Multi-Cap Value Fund, it consistently beat the S&P 500, ranking in the top 10% in its five-year Morningstar peer group. She has been featured on national television and in major economic publications.
• Edward Withrow Jr earned his MBA from Harvard, with a concentration in Investment Banking, and has worked as a financial professional with Drexel Burnham Lambert, Paine Webber, Merrill Lynch, and Wells Fargo. He has held a number of elected and appointed positions, including mayor of Alameda, California, and is currently the president of the Governing Board of The Peralta Colleges, involving approximately 30,000 students. He also served for many years with the U.S. Navy as a professional logistician, retiring with the rank of Captain.
• John Ogden holds a law degree (with honors) from the University of Leeds in England, building a successful natural resource corporate finance business in London. Later he established an independent corporate financial consulting business, first in London and then in Houston, specializing in domestic and international energy issues. He has extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, and financing, in the energy sector, and is the co-founder of Wood Roberts, LLC, an energy corporate finance and advisory firm.
