Viper Motorcycle Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Viper Powersports Inc., announced this morning that it has signed a key new dealer, Polaris West.
Terry Nesbitt, President of Viper Motorcycle Company, stated, “We are proud to welcome Polaris West in Katy, Texas to the Viper team. I have known Owner/President Rick Luebeck for many years. Rick and his staff bring years of experience as a key multi-line Houston area dealer and add to our ever-growing credibility in this industry.”
Mr. Luebeck commented, “We are excited at the opportunity and welcome this unique OEM company to our business. Our plan is to formally introduce Viper to the Houston market this month.”
The company also announced that its bikes will be on display at the Thunder Cycle trailer on the Speedway property during Bike Week. Eddie Trotta, owner of Thunder Cycle stated, “As a Florida Viper dealer we are already experiencing a very positive acceptance of Viper motorcycles and look forward to representing Viper at this event. The Diamondback is a very special motorcycle and as a manufactured product fits very well with our custom cycles.”
Nesbitt added, “Dealer development is ongoing and we will continue to add key new dealers as our sales increase throughout 2010. Our retail sell-thru in 2009 exceeded 80% and I fully expect that number to grow in 2010 as demand for Viper products increase and we continue to develop the brand. Our wholesale backlog for the 2010 model year is completely booked.”
