New Leaf Brands, Inc., based in Scottsdale, AZ, issued a press release today to announce that they have doubled their distribution agreement with Manhattan Beer, the largest beverage distributor in the New York City area. New Leaf markets and distributes ready to drink beverages, primarily natural tea sweetened with evaporated organic cane sugar. The company provides New Leaf in 14 flavors, including blue teas, green teas, black teas, and white teas.
The New Leaf products will now be found in over 4,000 cold beverage cases in the metro area. The New Leaf drinks will also be positioned in prominent positions at eye-catching levels of the customers along with being housed on their trademark green glide racks. Manhattan Beer has launched a marketing campaign called “The Official Beverage of Taste” to promote sales of the existing New Leaf drinks while distributing New Leaf’s new 100% natural half and half and flavored lemonade products.
The remainder of the press release discussed the relationship between Manhattan Beer and New Leaf Brands. They have been working together since 2008 and have enjoyed a very successful relationship thus far. Bill DeLuca, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Manhattan Beer, was quoted as saying “We have seen demand steadily increase for New Leaf’s high quality beverages and gain more and more traction with our customers. The growth that New Leaf has shown in a short period of time is no surprise to us because of their attractive branding, and above all else, the product tastes great.”
