GTX Corp. (GTXO) Launches Two New Tracking Apps

It can be argued that a significant portion of every individual’s personal and professional time is spent in the act of tracking, locating things, or locating people. Professionally, companies often need to track employees, vehicles, or shipments. On a personal level, people want to track children, pets, or perhaps even a loved one suffering from dementia. Today, the advent of GPS-related technologies has made it possible to see the world as never before, allowing us to keep in touch with things and people regardless of their physical distance from us.

GTX Corp., based in Los Angeles, is seeking to make the most of GPS technology by developing and integrating two-way global positioning with consumer products and enterprise applications. The company provides personal and business tracking and locating solutions through hardware devices, software platform licensing, and smart phone applications. Utilizing miniaturized GPS technology, GTX enables subscribers to track, in real time, the whereabouts of people, pets, or high-valued assets, wirelessly.

For example, LOCiMobile is a suite of mobile tracking applications that turn the iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, and other GPS enabled handsets, into locatable devices, which can be tracked from handset to handset or through a location data center tracking portal, also allowing the user to send a map to the recipient’s phone showing the user’s location.

Another product is the company’s award-winning and multi-patent GPS Smart Shoe, an application that can locate the wearer in real-time, helping you find someone at the touch of a button. GTX also provides Code Amber News Service that focuses on the recovery of missing persons, in addition to mobile tracking applications for monitoring vehicles and shipping containers.

GTX Corp. has now announced the launch of two new GPS and personal location based applications, the GPS Shoe iPhone app (coming soon to iPads and Android phones) and the Track My Work Force app, available on iPhones and iPads, and coming soon to Androids.
