Yesterday, TeleCommunication Systems (TCS) announced that it has been awarded $11.3 million in additional funding to provide the U.S. Marine Corps with field support services for its communications infrastructure. The U.S. Army Project Manager for the Warfighter Information Network-Tactical Commercial Satellite Terminal Program will manage the procurements through the Army’s $5 billion World-Wide Satellite Systems contract vehicle.
“The USMC needs flexible communications solutions in order to achieve their mission objectives, and the right technical support is a key element of those solutions,” remarked Michael Bristol, TCS’s senior vice president and general manager of government solutions. “We are honored to provide these additional positions, covering various technical skill sets that will deliver the expertise the USMC deserves.”
