Willow Creek Enterprises Inc. (WLOC) Delineates Proposed Drilling Program for Hercules Project in Nevada’s Prolific Walker Lane Mineral Belt

Willow Creek Enterprises, the precious and base metals exploration/development company currently focused on rather sizeable land holdings in Nevada, in addition to actively pursuing the acquisition of promising North American gold projects, outlined today the upcoming drilling program slated to commence in early June 2011 at the Company’s Hercules Gold & Silver Property.

The Hercules is situated in prime territory that falls within the prolific Walker Lane Mineral Belt in the southern part of Nevada’s Lyon County and consists of some 88 mining claims on 1,760 acres. An indicated resource of some 583k gold-equivalent ounces makes the Hercules a very promising target for WLOC’s development activities and the Company has designed a rigorous drilling program incorporating both core and reverse circulation-rotary (RC) angle drill holes that will validate and elaborate on indicated resources via infill drilling.

President of WLOC, Terry Fields, pointed out the extremely prolific history of the Walker Lane Mineral Belt, which boats some of the world’s top epithermal deposits of precious metals, including the legendary Comstock Lode (8.6M oz Au, 192M oz Ag), and Round Mountain (10M oz Au since 1906), Rawhide, Aurora and Goldfield mines. Fields also noted the massive porphyry copper deposition at Yerington, which produced some 1.75B lbs of copper between 1953 and 1978.

Fields clearly could not hold back his excitement, conveying the extremely attractive site profile and proposed drilling program achieved by the Company’s geological and exploration teams, calling this announcement a major milestone for WLOC’s flagship Hercules property.

As this next phase of development of the Hercules kicks off, the Company will be eagerly mapping and defining new claims and target areas. Discovery of new targets is already projected by WLOC to be a major component of overall activity and the Company has budgeted resources accordingly.

The proposed drilling program currently aims to complete some 10 or more holes at depths of 200-500 feet on 50-100 foot spacing (some 3k feet total) and is designed to comprehensively address the West Cliff area, as well as North area up towards the ABC zones.
